It features a magnetic float with a much larger sweep area to more accurately sense actual coolant fluid levels. A rigid stainless steel shaft potted with epoxy prevents failures from coolant ingress. Additionally, a separate harness attached to the connector allows for simplified installation by removing the need to index the OEM sensor. Installing this upgraded Dorman OE FIX solution helps drivers and fleet managers avoid unnecessary truck downtime and possible engine damage.
