TRW

TRW is a steering, suspension and brake brand. At Restauco you will find two TRW lines on this page: TRW Premium Chassis and TRW Premium Braking.

TRW Premium Chassis covers ball joints, control arm and ball joint assemblies, inner and outer tie rod ends, stabilizer bar link kits, shock absorbers and strut bellows (bumper and dust boot kits). TRW describes these parts as OE grade, with several levels of testing and technical review. TRW Premium Braking includes metallic brake pad sets, slotted and chamfered to OE specifications with hardware included where applicable. We also list TRW brake hydraulic hoses.

From the shop: when you replace a shock or strut, replace the bump stop and dust boot too. A torn boot lets dirt eat the new piston rod. On ball joints and tie rods, check the whole front end and plan an alignment. On brakes, replace pads in axle sets, clean and lube the slides, and replace a brake hose that is cracked, swollen or rubbing.
