Spicer

Spicer is the driveline and axle brand of Dana. At Restauco you will find Spicer parts for the parts of the vehicle that carry power from the transmission to the wheels.

On this page we list Spicer universal joints, in both greaseable and non-greaseable designs (including Spicer Select), axle shafts, driveshaft boot kits, drive shaft flange yokes and center support bearings. For the axle and differential we list axle shaft seals, axle tube seals, ring and pinion gear sets and differential bearing rebuild kits.

From the shop: a clunk when you shift into gear or a vibration that grows with speed often points to a worn U-joint or a tired center support bearing. When you replace one U-joint, check the others on the same shaft. On a differential rebuild, setup matters as much as parts: pinion depth, preload and backlash have to be measured, not guessed. Replace axle seals when the axle comes out, and look for gear oil on the inside of the wheel or brake parts.

U-joints are sized by series, such as 1310, 1350 or 1410, and a part that looks close may not fit. Confirm your part by year, make, model and drivetrain, or send us your VIN and the number on your old part and we will help you match it.
