On this page you will find MagnaFlow California Grade CARB compliant universal catalytic converters and MagnaFlow Standard Grade Federal/EPA compliant universal catalytic converters, in inlet and outlet sizes such as 2.00, 2.25, 2.50 and 3.00 inches. Each listing shows the size and the position the converter is designed for. We also list MagnaFlow catalytic converters with integrated manifold and MagnaFlow mufflers.

Important: Each converter listing states in its title whether it is California (CARB) legal or Federal/EPA only. Federal/EPA and non-CARB converters are not for sale in California or other CARB states. California and other states that follow CARB rules require a converter approved for your specific vehicle. Check your state's rules and the emissions label under your hood before you choose a converter, and call us before you buy if you are not sure. A universal converter is installed by welding or clamping into the existing pipe, so it is a job for a shop with the right tools.

From the shop: a converter usually fails because of a problem upstream. Misfires, a rich fuel mixture, oil burning or a coolant leak will overheat or clog a new converter in no time, so fix the cause first. Measure the pipe and note the inside or outside diameter before you order, and replace the gaskets and hardware on the job.
