From the shop: worn shocks and struts do more than make the ride bouncy. They can lengthen stopping distance, make the vehicle lean and dive, and wear tires unevenly. Replace shocks and struts in pairs on the same axle. When you replace a strut, replace the boot and bump stop too, because a torn boot lets dirt eat the new piston rod, and check the strut mount for noise and wear. A complete corner unit saves time and replaces the spring and mount at once. After strut work, get an alignment.
