Denso
DENSO makes engine management and electrical parts for cars, trucks and SUVs. At Restauco this page brings together DENSO oxygen sensors, radiators and A/C compressors. Oxygen sensors tell the engine computer how much oxygen is left in the exhaust so it can adjust the fuel mixture.
You will find DENSO universal oxygen sensors in 2-wire unheated, 3-wire heated and 4-wire heated designs, with the wire length and the upstream or downstream position listed on each part. A universal sensor uses your old connector or a splice, so read the installation notes on each listing. We also list DENSO radiators and A/C compressors.
From the shop: an oxygen sensor code does not always mean a bad sensor. Before you replace one, check for exhaust leaks ahead of the sensor, vacuum leaks, misfires and damaged wiring. A leak in front of the sensor pulls in outside air and gives a false lean reading. Use a proper oxygen sensor socket, put anti-seize only on the threads if the new sensor does not already have it, and keep it off the tip. Upstream sensors control the fuel mixture; downstream sensors watch the catalytic converter.
Count the wires on your old sensor and note its position before you order. Confirm your part by year, make, model and engine, or send us your VIN and we will help you check it.
