Bilstein

Bilstein is a German ride control brand known for its monotube shock absorbers and struts. At Restauco you will find several Bilstein series, each built for a different job, so the first step is picking the right one for how your vehicle sits and how you drive it.

The B4 OE Replacement series is designed to restore the original ride of your vehicle, including DampMatic units for certain Mercedes-Benz models. The B6 series (B6 4600 and B6 Performance) is an upgrade over factory dampers for vehicles at stock height. The B8 series (B8 5100, B8 5160 with remote reservoir, and B8 Performance Plus) is designed for lifted trucks and SUVs or for vehicles with aftermarket lowering springs, depending on the model.

A shop tip after decades on the floor: replace shocks and struts in pairs on the same axle, and check mounts and bushings while you are in there. Before you order, confirm the part by year, make, model and drive type, or send us your VIN and we will help you match it. Ride height matters: a B8 built for a lift will not be the right choice for a stock-height truck.
